Dreamlike, exquisitely printed work of a small boat being poled along a river in the mist. The mist rises above the river and along the ravines in the surrounding hills. The water is characterized by smooth undulations that blend into the mist above. Printed on watermarked paper that is marked “Miyamoto Shufu” in kanji. Signed, titled and numbered (38/150) in pencil at bottom. Miyamoto began to make self-carved and self-printed woodblock prints in 1972.
