A sumptuously attired man as a bamboo-ware maker. One of the characters from Taketori Monogatari “Tale of Shining Princess”. Two poems above by Bunyusha Harusato and Bunbunsha. Behind the craftsman sits a cuckoo singing.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. Some mounting remains, verso and perhaps some trimming.
