Surimono with 21 poems; at bottom is a fabric pouch decorated with butterflies that gathers with cords at both ends; perhaps this is used as a carry-all when traveling. Untranslated are the the haikai (haiku) of 21 poets, as well as the title and the occasion of this publication. The British Museum has a number of similar prints by the artist wherein everyday objects are paired with featured poems.
Condition: Excellent impression and color; very good/good condition. With some soiling and creases; work was likely originally presented as folded, so the two fold lines are to be expected. Dimensions: 21.4 x 28.5 cm
