Framed with Chinese flowers and patterns and the title on red, the picture of the upper part of this print depicts one of the scenes of the Chinese version of the Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Piety. Above is Chiang Shih catching fish for his mother. Below, the actor Bando Shuka I as the fox-woman Kuzunoha peering across the stream. She wars a broad hat and seems to dance along the flowered stream-bank.

Excellent impression and color: very good condition. Three margins very narrow.
