A carp swims towards the surface, mouth open. He is surrounded by eddying water and aquatic plants. The ishizuiri-e panel at left has been trimmed, as is the case with several museum examples, including the Michener example at the Art Institute of Chicago. There are a number of different states.
Condition: Very good impression, color and condition.
