We see a beauty enjoying a taste of prepared octopus. She seems to have just finished cooking them in a a large, shallow pan over a hibachi, after which she transferred them into the large ceramic bowl at bottom. She is definitely enjoying a cup of tea with her snack– we might guess that she is cooking this batch for a larger group of people that may be in a different room. In the inset is a view of a fish market; it was designed by Kunihisa II.
