Rare design showing colorful stones along the shoreline in Niigata. A village may be glimpsed to the right. The paper bears a blindprinted seal with Hiroshi Yoshida’s signature and seal of a baren. Yoshida noted that the work required 12 blocks and fifty impressions, with many overlapping colors used to give dimensionality to the stones. Extremely fresh and clean, and cannot be compared with examples that have been passed around for decades and/or framed. Provenance: Yoshida Family.
