We see hikers mustering for the climb of Mount Fuji along with two horses that are already pointing downhill for the walk home. They cluster near the base of Mount Fuji at Umagaeshi, which historically was the highest place to which horses were allowed to travel. This is also the trailhead for the Yoshida Trail. It looks to be near sunrise by the pink of the clouds and the dark tones of the pictured activities. Provenance: Yoshida Family.
