Shimabara Castle. Charming view from low in the moat outside of the castle walls.  From a series by Ken Tagawa (Takawa Ken hanga shirizu) from 1959. Seal in left margin reads “Jikoku jizuri” “self-carved, self-printed”. With a separate slip beautifully printed by the artist with what looks like publishing information. A lovely postwar sosaku hanga design with sophisticated printing.
