A man in a warrior’s armor and the other seemingly in gagaku dancer’s costume are smoking together, using one tobacco tray by the water. On the ground a palanquin is set and two hats, decorated with a twig of plum and peony placed on it. It suggests female dancers are also in this group. In the palaquin a fan and some other things can be seen. The bottom of the palanquin is richly decorated with flowers. They seem to enjoy a break at a New Year’s street performance.
