Shintô god appears in front of a mother and a son who kneel down to pray to scare the measles away. The text above writes the things forbidden and the things recommended at the bottom. The things forbidden are: sake rice wine, raw fish, river fish, ...noodles, eggs, mushrooms, spicy things, salty things, extremely sweet things, chicken meat, tofu bean curd, devil’s tongue, all kinds of beans, egg plants, cucumbers, potatoes, lotus roots, budocks, sesames, pickled plum, pickled challots, watermelons, melons, all the oily stuff, seaweeds, shrimp, squids, musles, pickled vegitables, and cold drinks and foods. Do not smell the bad and do not touch dirty things; should wait roughly 20 days after the complete recovery for a bath; should refrain from sexual intercourse until after at least 100 days. The things good to eat are: sole, abalones, winter melons, white melon, radish, carrots, fuki butter bur, lilies, kuwai , dried gourd shavings, dried mushroom, zenmai royal fern, fu bread, black beans, green beans, pears; drink roasted rice tea.
