Three women enjoy a summer visit to Meguro Fudo Temple, They have stopped by a tea stall to enjoy some tea, which sits on a tray on a large bench. As there are three cups on the tray, we can surmise that these three laidies have come together, and are each enjoying the moment in their own fashion.The buildings are a vermilion red and stand out against the cypress and deciduous trees. The only sign of westernization is the straw boater on the gentleman in the middle distance, and two street lamps behind him.
