Miyamoto Musashi is considered the greatest Japanese swordsman in history. He was the author of “The Book of Five Rings”, still in print today. Here we see Musahi on a primitive cable car-type device that was used to traverse ravines. He is being menaced by a giant bat, its sharp teeth bared.
