“Acrobatics and Comparing the Four Brave Samurais” (Karuwaza, Shitenno mitate).This humorous print is divided into two: above shows the scene of ropewalking; below of caputuring a devil crab, refering to the four brave acts of Minamoto no Yorimitsu. The titles are written on the sake pots with wave pattern, the name of series on sake cups.Kuniyoshi anthropomorphizes the turtles with great skill.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. Minor wormage at left and a smudge at top.
