Three prints from the series “Modern Suikoden” (Tosei Suikoden) that also form a triptych when put together. To the right is Nakamura Shikan as Kurkara Denshichi. He sports a torso tattoo of a rooster and wears a robe featuring a ferocious snake head. The actor on the left sports a tattoo with flowers and a robe with a large bat. The actor in the middle holds a shakuhachi, the moon above him. This is probably a continuation of the series of triptychs from 1858, also titled Tosei Suikoden, but with the subtitle “Pine, Bamboo and Plum”.
