From the humorous series that compares sixteen beauties with the sixteen Taoist Immortal, we see the Taoist Immortal Shohei using his magical powers and a stick to turn a stone into a goat, upper right. Here it looks as though a naughty cat has grabbed an item of interest to the beauty, who looks to be quickly dressing and putting on an outer robe to address the situation. We see a cup knocked over, which indicates that some kind of commotion just occurred. The cat is positioned like a rounded stone, but there is probably hidden humor in the writing top left, which is very difficult to translate.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. Light trimming, and lightly backed. Repaired wormhole and traces of binding holes.
