Four actors aboard a large boat. Left is Iwai Kumesaburo III as keisei Ayame; then is Ichikawa Kuzo II as Tsuruhashiya Kinosuke and Ichikawa Shinsho II. To the right is Ichikawa Danjuro VIII as Jiraiya. He wears a splendid robe that is decorated with a dragon and holds a sword. The two men in the middle are fighting with their swords. From the play Jiraiya goketsu monogatari.
