View of Kiso Gorge,  whose vertical walls and precipitous wooden bridge were made famous from prints by Hiroshige. We see travelers crossing the bridge at top and a man poling a log raft through the rapids in a straw coat, below. The vertiginous view is made even more so by the tall, narrow format. This work is considered to be from the pre-earthquake period, although it is not listed in the Shimizu Hiroaki catalog of 2005. Very scarce.
