Two charmingly attired beauties gather tea into woven baskets. The region was famous for its tea and mochi (rice cakes). The cartouche above shows the Abe river and contains a famous haiku by Bashô.
Condition: Excellent impression and color. Very good condition. Repaired wormage near margin.
