From “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo”. The sun is setting on a spring day, the cherry trees blooming along the path to Azuma Shrine. The path continues through a stone torii and shrine pennants until reaching the precincts of the shrine. We see also the giant camphor tree with the split trunk that enshrines Princess Ototachibana’s sacrifice for Prince Yamato Takeru.
