Sakasai Ferry (Sakasai no watashi). Snow-white egrets are the focal point of this view of the wetland edges of the Nakagawa river. Humans and their dwellings are relegated to the distance as the river commands center stage. This edition has the dramatic bokashi that is darkest down the center of the river, one indicator of an early state.

Condition: Excellent impression and color. Very good condition.. Some creases and minor backing remnants, verso.
