A boisterous procession of carpenters process past the Daimaru dry goods shop. They have just completed a ceremony (tôryô-okuri) marking the progress of a new building. They hold oversized ceremonial implements and follow the lead of the master carpenter. This is titled “Silk-goods Lane, Ôdenma-chô” (ôdenma-chô gofukudana) from the series “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo”. From the first edition.

Condition: Excellent impression, very good color and condition. Repaired binding holes along right edge, some rubbing at bottom.
