Tea House Dai was known for a wonderful view over the sea, good cooking, and beautiful servants. The guest on the veranda seems to enjoy all these and a cool summer night. On February 11, 1854 Commodor Perry on his second visit came to this bay and anchored the “Black Ship” here. On March 31 he signed the Kanagawa Treaty.
