Half-naked Kyumonryô Shishin (Nine Tattooed Dragons Shi Jin) grasps a foe effortlessly by the neck with his left hand while looking to his right. His only weapon seems to be a pole in his right hand. The strange perforated rock formations in the background would indicate that this is foreign soil, in this case China, and not the familiar environs of Japan.  From the series Tsûzoku Suikoden gôketsu hyakuhachi-nin (The Hundred and Eight Heroes of the Popular Suikoden). Kuniyoshi is considered the pinnacle artist of the warrior genre, and his tattooed heroes are increasingly sought-after and scarce.
