Sagaminokami Hôjô Takatoki (1303-33) is harassed by tengu during his dabauches in the later years of his life. Takatoki was a powerful shogunal regent who is said to be scarcely sane, with erratic conduct and poor judgement. Perhaps these tengu are products of his own mind? The magical tengu have both yellow and black wings and torment him from above. He tries to dissuade them with a fan. A very early edition, with mica in the black sky.
