Title: Taxco, Mexico  Date: 1975

Sunny, bright and beautiful scene of this charming hillside town in Mexico. Cheerful and welcoming, bougainvilleas add pops of color, as do the pinatas on display outside of a shop entrance. Today the city is known for its silverwork and is a popular tourist destination– it has been named one of Mexico’s “Magical Towns” due to the quality of the silverwork, the colonial architecture and the beauty of the scenery. Toshi Yoshida, like his father Hiroshi, traveled the world extensively, visiting India, Europe and the Americas.
