Serene horizontal view of the perfect slopes of Mount Fuji, snow atop its peak and mist surrounding its shoulders. In the foreground are copses of trees and a small red torii. The printing of the snow on the ridges has a subtle dimensional quality due to  the action of the printer’s baren. Hiroaki excelled at these narrow formats, both horizontal and vertical, which must certainly have presented a design challenge. Clean, serene and beautifully printed.
