A beauty wearing a heart-patterned kimono looks towards her left. In her right hand is a sheaf of papers  with the characters for pine, bamboo and plum (Sho, chiku, bai); perhaps she is signing a visitor log during a New Year visit, as sho chiku bai is associated with the celebrations of the new year. The horizontal lines at the back seem to demonstrate a modern design energy. Sadahide designed relatively few bijin-ga, and even fewer uchiwa-e, although we can see his obvious skill in the genre.

Condition: Excellent impression and color; very good condition. Restored binding holes and some restorations in corners.
