This is from an untitled series showing visits to the Yoshiwara pleasure district (known as Series L), firmly attributed to Masanubu. We see a courtesan sitting on a bench with her hair undone; her attendant standing next to her; her kamuros pulling guests into the house. There is an example of this print in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where it has been mounted as a hanging scroll.

Condition: Good impression and condition. Repaired wormage.
