A rare design from this important landscape series. There is almost an identical view of this place by Hiroshige in his “36 Views of Mt. Fuji” series. We see an ancient tree foreground, partially truncated a la Hiroshige. In the background we see rickshas parked outside of a restaurant/teahouse with visitors admiring the blossoms.
