Ueno Rokkaku chaya. A woman with a pink western umbrella approaches the six-sided teahouse in Ueno. Perhaps it is the off season, as we see few customers beneath the deep green canopy of trees. Some tree branches are represented with a squiggle, lending the trees a feeling of movement. This work does have the feeling of a tourist outpost in the off-season, somewhat lonely and deserted.
