The actor Bando Hikosaburo V as Samezaya Shiroza, Comparable to Lin Zhong. From the series “A contemporary Water Margin: Pine, Bamboo, and Plum.” Samezaya Shiroza grasps his sword hilt with his right hand, tattoo designs of waves and blossoms forming a contrast to the green kimono with an enormous eagle that is wrapped around him. Although this is a single sheet print, complete with cartouche, it also forms a triptych with two other works from this series.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. Discoloration lower right corner.
