Title: Sensoji Temple in the Snow 浅草寺雪中

A woman and her child visit the famous Sensoji Temple in winter, the bare trees reaching into the grey sky. The brilliant red roof detail and railing serve as bright contrast against the snow. There is a soft feeling to the work that matches the time of year and the muted view, and there is mica applied to areas of the sky. From an untitled series of scenes of Tokyo.
