View on the outskirts of Edo of “Robe-Hanging Pine, Senzoku Pond.” The great Buddhist saint Nichiren is said to have hung his kesa (Buddhist sash) on this tree, which is now on the grounds of the Nichiren temple of Myôfukuji. Very early edition with woodgrain visible in the water, which has beautiful bokashi. Senzoku no ike Kesakakematsu.
