Peaceful view of a docked wooden boat during a snowstorm, the marshes across the river slowly being blanketed by snow. The snowflakes are large and are printed with a type of embossing so that they appear even when falling atop the pure white areas. The water has been masterfully depicted, with very subtle gradations of colors.
