Delightful view of Edoites enjoying a grove of blooming cherry trees, below, and a view of Ueno from the Flower Pavilion, upper right. Hiroshige has employed the “Genji clouds” in the middle of the scene to separate the two types of enjoyments. This flower pavilion, the Shisentei, was founded by a gardener and featured flowers that bloomed during all four seasons.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. Center fold.
