Jiraiya is surrounded by a gang, two holding oversized implement/weapons. At right a man holds a giant saw, and at left a man holds a giant axe. One man holds a black powder musket on his shoulder. Far right a character is emerging from a straw mat and holding an inro. From left are Irashi Kangoro I, unknown, Ichikawa Danjuro VIII as Jiraiya, Ichikawa Hirogoro and Arashi Rikan III. From the play Jiraiya goketsu Monogatari. With deluxe printing embellishments including added mica and extra “lacquer” pattern printing on the black.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Minor trimming.
