Loyal Retainers Wakashima Yasuemon and Yazama Kihei. From the Chushingura, or Tale of the 47 Ronin, We see Wakashima Yasuemon with his arms crossed, looking directly and boldly at the viewer. He wears two swords and a large battle axe rests in front of him. Seated and looking to the left in an almost contemplative fashion is Yazama Kihei. The yellow background provides a bright contrast.
