Sunset view of Mount Fuji, its snow-covered slopes glowing with a pink cast. It must be springtime, as there is a cluster of flowering pink trees along the slope at right. This work is interesting because it has been printed without a typical keyblock, meaning that there are no outlines to most of the features of the landscape. We can presume that this is a more difficult way to print shin hanga, and we can note the painterly effect that this technique brings with it. The reflection of Fuji-san in the water is very effective.
