Bold, abstracted shapes with varying textures show the influence of the Precolumbian works he encountered in Mexico in 1955.  Hodaka Yoshida was the second son of Hiroshi Yoshida. He was a self-taught artist who began creating abstract woodblock prints in 1950. Provenance: Ayomi Yoshida.
