Left, Kazama Hachirô Masakuni shines his lantern upwards, one hand on his sword-hilt. Right is Mitono Kotarô Tamehisa, crouching on one knee and also shining his lantern upward. Behind him is a metal chain with a weight at the end of it. Perhaps they are signaling someone far away? This series is based on the legend “Oguri Hangwan monogatari”, regarding the ten retainers of great warrior Oguri Hangwan Sukeshige.

Condition:  Excellent impression, color and condition.  Two sheets are joined.  Unbacked.
